With the goal of enhancing and expanding the quality of business mentoring services provided to all types of enterprises in Türkiye, the National Business Mentoring Initiative was formed in 2017, and the participants signed a Joint Declaration expressing their intention to share knowledge, experience, and expertise.

Since 2016, the coordination of the National Mentor Network has been carried out through the Technology Transfer Professionals (TTP) Association.
