USIMP has a holistic and integrated approach to KE/TT and focuses on the establishment and development of interface organisations that serve the specific institutional/regional needs with a model that is applicable and in agreement with the cultural characteristics.
The main tool is to create consensus and synergies amongst internal and external stakeholders; namely, academia, industry, government, public institutions and NGOs. Tailor-made services are developed for various national and international players of the ecosystem and are implemented for capacity building and skills improvement.
USIMP’s services for the member institutions and the ecosystem are grouped under several headings:
- Creating Awareness in the Ecosystem, through seminars, focus group studies. targeting TTO professionals, university adminstrators, /innovators from academia, state officials, policy makers, funding innovation stakeholders

- Providing Platform-based services, involving many experts from different organisations for targeted deliverables:
- Open Innovation Platform (AIP) aims to enable Technology Transfer Offices to shift from a supply-driven working model to a demand-driven approach, exploiting knowledge and technology produced in universities and developing university-industry collaborations through KE/TT.
- Green Transformation Platform (ÜYDÖP) provides holistic and integrated services to SMEs supporting them in their journey for Green Transformation as a “Solution-Partner” endorsed by TUBITAK. It offers a wide range of consultancy services via 77 Experts from 27 Member Institutions on 46 Subtopics related to Green Transformation.
