USIMP carries out activities aimed at developing solutions to the challenges of the science, technology development, and innovation ecosystem, and at raising awareness, drawing on the rich institutional experience of its uniquely structured members.
Main objectives of activities are.
- To promote and support university–industry collaboration activities in universities, research institutions and organizations, industrial enterprises, and non-governmental organizations, and to contribute to increasing awareness of university–industry collaboration among all stakeholders,
- To coordinate processes that enable institutions and organizations working on university–industry collaboration at national and international levels to share and disseminate their knowledge and experience more rapidly and in a targeted manner,
- To contribute to the establishment of “University–Industry Collaboration Interface Offices” in universities across the country, which represent a significant step forward for both academic and industrial development,
- To establish a service standardization and recognition process for existing and newly established interface organizations and their personnel, and to contribute to their quality and performance,
- To contribute to the development of policies and strategies, as well as the preparation of action plans related to university–industry collaboration, in coordination with public authorities.
